Chanukah, the Jewish Festival of Lights, celebrates the power of light to overcome darkness. Each year, Chabad centers around the world bring that message to public squares and community spaces through public menorah lightings, welcoming people of all backgrounds to celebrate together.
When Chabad of Frisco opened in 2014, one of our very first events was a community menorah lighting, bringing this worldwide tradition to our hometown. That gathering has since grown into Chanukah at The Star, a beloved Frisco tradition welcoming more than a thousand people of all ages and backgrounds.
From vibrant concerts featuring Jewish artists to traditional Chanukah foods, children’s activities, and the lighting of a giant menorah, each year brings new memories. Joined by community leaders and neighbors from across Frisco, we celebrate Jewish heritage and the timeless message of Chanukah: a little light can brighten an entire community.
This Year’s Headliner: Yoni Z
