Christmas at The Star presented by Albertsons and Tom Thumb gives fans an opportunity to enjoy free family-friendly events throughout the holiday season including the official Christmas tree lighting, performances from your favorite Dallas Cowboys entertainment, and more.
On Wednesday, December 12th join us for The Officials' very own “Hip Hop Nutcracker” at The Star for the second year! The Officials are an award winning dance crew from Next Step Dance and Performing Arts in Frisco, TX. They are dedicated dancers who are passionate about hip hop dance and have a desire to perform both professionally and within their community. Under the direction of Jenny Durbin Smith and Ashley Miller, these dancers train for competitions, performances and professional jobs. In the short time since their 2014 inception, The Officials have performed at Dallas Cowboys pregame and halftime shows, are 2x champions at Dallas Hip Hop Dance Fest, were awarded the DHDF crowd favorite crew, are Monster’s A-list 2x Winners in Dallas and top 3 overall in Los Angeles, CA, received the Entertainment Award at Monster’s A-list Dallas, and have multiple National Champion titles and awards. This year, The Officials have booked their very own Royal Caribbean Cruise Line performance show and will set sail in July! They have also performed at community and corporate events, celebrity birthday parties, charity events, and business grand openings.
The Legends Show hosted by Mickey Spagnola and Bill Jones which features a different Cowboys Legend each week will be broadcast on the video board in Tostitos Championship Plaza following The Officials' performance.
